Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at ryan@robbinsrestoration.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We provide 24/7 restoration services throughout Western Oregon, including Douglas, Lane, Coos, and surrounding counties. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, just call us, we’ll respond immediately.

The cost of water damage, mold remediation, or other restoration services depends on the severity of the damage and the services required. Every project is unique, so we provide a free on-site inspection and detailed estimate before any work begins.

If you have insurance coverage:

  1. Your insurance may cover most or all of the cost, depending on your policy and the type of damage.

  2. You are typically responsible for your deductible, which is the portion your insurance doesn’t pay.

  3. We work directly with your insurance company to document damage, submit estimates, and handle communications, minimizing stress and ensuring the claim is processed accurately.

  4. You will only pay what your policy requires, which may include your deductible and any non-covered items such as plumbing repairs.

Key points to know:

  • We provide a detailed, itemized estimate so you know exactly what the insurance is paying and what you are responsible for.

  • We can help maximize your coverage by documenting all affected areas and services.

  • Even if your insurance partially covers the work, we make sure you understand your financial responsibility upfront, so there are no surprises.

  • If you do not have insurance, we will provide a transparent, competitive quote so you know the full cost before we begin.

Bottom line: Our goal is to restore your home or business quickly, safely, and transparently while making the insurance process as simple as possible.

  • Safety first: avoid electrical hazards.

  • Stop the water source if possible. If you know where your main shutoff valve is located, (usually in the water meter box near the street or sidewalk), or at your pumphouse if you’re on well water, try to turn it off. If you cannot turn it off by hand and don’t have a water key, a crescent wrench or vice grips may help. If all else fails, call your water utility; they can often respond quickly to help shut off the main valve.

  • Call us immediately, the faster we respond, the less damage occurs and the better chance of insurance coverage.

  • Avoid attempting major cleanup yourself, as improper handling can worsen damage or mold growth which may result in a denial of coverage by your insurance provider.

We handle water damage restoration, mold remediation, sewage cleanup, crawlspace restoration, odor removal, asbestos sampling, roof tarping, board-up services, and reconstruction. We work with both residential and small commercial properties (10,000 Sq. Ft. or less).
